REPORT ON PHOSPHATE MINE POLLUTION IN IDAHO CONTAINS DEFORMED FISH PHOTOS
Earlier this month, officials of the J.R. Simplot Company denied that a report prepared by the company on selenium pollution in waters near the Smoky Canyon Mine in southeastern Idaho contained photos of deformed fish, but the report does indeed contain such photos. (Feb 8)

National Geographic Adventure released its list of the world's 25 best ski towns, and Bozeman made that unranked list, as did Whitefish, Montana, Ketchum, Idaho, Jackson, Wyoming, Aspen, Crested Butte, Steamboat Springs and Telluride in Colorado, Park City, Utah, Banff, Alberta, Fernie, B.C., and Bend, Oregon.
