John Hockenberry

Host Marcia Franklin talks with John Hockenberry, a longtime journalist for both public radio and commercial television. Hockenberry, the recipient of numerous Peabody and Emmy awards, is currently the host of the "Takeaway" on public radio, a Distinguished Fellow at MIT's MediaLab, and the program director of the Sun Valley Writer's Conference.

Franklin and Hockenberry talk about his goals for the conference, as well as his thoughts on new media platforms. They also discuss changes in the disability movement since Hockenberry was paralyzed in an automobile accident more than 30 years ago.
