Martha Godchaux Biography Martha Godchaux is a New Englander who taught geology and volcanology at Mount Holyoke College in MA from 1970 to 1998. She now is Professor Emerita from Mt. Holyoke and works as a Research Associate with her husband, Bill Bonnichsen, investigating Idaho's ancient volcanic eruptions. She and Bill have "live eruption experience" in Hawaii, Mexico, and the U.S. (Mount St. Helens), and they have travelled extensively in classic volcanic provinces in the British Isles, Africa, and North America. |
