Weedon Biography
I am a Community Education Representative for Idaho Power Company. I've been with the company for nearly 14 years. In my current position I have the opportunity to speak to a wide variety of audiences - from elementary school children to senior citizens - on topics such as electrical safety, energy generation and conservation, and environmental stewardship. I hold a bachelors degree in communication from Boise State University, a masters degree in organizational leadership from George Fox University, and am currently pursuing a doctorate degree in adult and organizational learning from the University of Idaho. I am also an adjunct instructor at George Fox University. Additionally, I am the program coordinator for Idaho Power's educational partnership with Monroe Elementary in Boise, and I serve on the Idaho Statewide Family Literacy Cabinet. Finally, I am a member of the Idaho Business Week Steering Council, and this year will serve as the President for the organization's week-long event at BSU. I am married and have a seven-year-old daughter. |
