Old Bear - Young Bear Objective:
Method: Procedure:
2. Shuffle and deal all cards (number received will vary) 3. Examine cards for matching pairs. Lay pairs on table, face up, and read to the group for an accuracy check. 4. Play resumes with the person to the left of the dealer. He/she draws a card from the person on his/her right. If a match is made, the cards are placed face up and read again. 5. Play continues clockwise until someone has depleted his hand by making matches. 6. Each person with cards left counts and tallies his points. Old bear = (+ 13) Young bear = (-5) Unmatched cards = (+1) Variations: Use cards to play other games such as Concentration, Rummy, others designed by students. Evaluation:
