Eric Yensen

Dr. Eric Yensen is a native of Idaho. He received a B.S. from The College of Idaho (now Albertson College), an M.A. from Oregon State University, and a Ph.D. from the University of Arizona. As a professor, he has taught at the University of Arizona, Millsaps College, Boise State University, and has been at Albertson College for the past 25 years. His specialties are ecology, conservation biology, mammalogy, and natural history of the Intermountain West, with a special expertise in ground squirrels. He has worked on conservation of ground squirrels in the northwest and on several diverse conservation projects in Bolivia. He is author of about 75 scholarly articles and book chapters, and over 50 technical reports.
