SCIENCE TREK Takes a Look at ‘The Earth’ April 15

This month on SCIENCE TREK, host Joan Cartan-Hansen discusses “The Earth” with guest scientists Virginia Gillerman, a geologist with the Idaho Geological Survey, and Jeffrey Johnson, an assistant research professor of geophysics at Boise State University.

The monthly science show for elementary school-aged children airs Tuesday, April 15, at 2:00/1:00 p.m. MT/PT; it repeats Sunday, April 20, at 8:00/7:00 a.m. and Monday, April 21, at 2:00/1:00 p.m. MT/PT.

Students can watch SCIENCE TREK over the air or on the show's website. They can send their questions through email to ScienceTrek@idahoptv.org or submit video questions recorded on their smartphones or webcams. Students who send in a question are eligible to win prizes for their classroom.
