Routes to ReadingIdaho Paves the Way with Access to Print.
The Routes to Reading project is designed to significantly increase the number of books shared with young children. "Books to Go" kits will be made available over the next three years at 250 Head Start centers, preschools, childcare centers, and home-based childcare sites statewide - allowing parents to take home bags of books to read with their children on a regular basis.

Many families and child care providers are not able to attend library storytimes. This site brings storytimes to you by creating a parent-friendly website with access to TumbleBooks in English and Spanish, daily activities to develop early literacy skills including fingerplays and songs modeled in video clips, and other educational information. This new site DayByDayID.org is a great resource for Idaho families, librarians, and caregivers.
