Connections

IdahoPTV's monthly newsletter, Connections is designed for those who care for children, birth through eight. Throughout the school year, Connections provides information in one place about the themes of each children's program, each day; along with book titles for infants, toddlers, and pre-schoolers, that tie to weekly themes. Add some fun activites, and you've created connections that enable engaging and powerful learning.

Each summer IdahoPTV sends out a special summer issue of Connections designed for early elementary school students. It includes information on great summertime TV, related books and activities for this slightly older age group.

Also check out what's happening with the Idaho State Libraries "Read to Me". You'll find lots of resources that encourage reading.

IdahoPTV distributes "Connections" to parents and care-givers who have participated in our workshops, and through First Book, one of our Ready to Read partnerships with the Idaho State Libraries.
