Sunflower Hot Springs
Mile 32
The Middle Fork runs through the heart of the Idaho batholith, a geologically interesting granite mass that is fractured with hotsprings. Sunflower is the most popular hotsprings on the river. Everyone stops here, if only to stand under the cascading hot water for a few glorious moments.
There are also some pools above the hot waterfall, allowing a more traditional hot springs experience.
The Middle Fork has several hot springs along its banks, located between Trail Flat camp and Hospital Bar.
