"Mama's Pride, Part 2"
Having completed the background painting Jerry begins the highlighting process starting with the orange detail on the head. Next the body hairs are applied using the dry brush blending technique to the body by highlighting on the right side and following the contour of the body to create softness and roundness with each stroke. Next the baby is blocked in and detailed highlights are added with the understanding that the final step of adding the falling snow and wintry wind eliminates the need for great detail that might be normally be required.
