The Desert Speaks  "The Gadsden Purchase Part 2"  Beginning at the San Pedro River and heading west, host David Yetman and Naturalist Jesus Garcia of the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, journey through some of natural wonders that would not be part of the United States if it hadn't been for the Gadsden Purchase. They drive through the "sky islands" of the Pinaleno Mountains, travel through the hard-core desert of Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, and visit the historic desert oasis, Quitobaquito Springs before finishing off their trip at the Colorado River near Yuma, the western border of the Gadsden Purchase. Additionally, they examine the different types of border fences that affect more than just the ecological relationship between the United States and Mexico. D

From the kitchen at Harriton House, Chef prepares Madeira Onion Soup, Periwinkles (sea snails), Beef Tongue with Caper Sauce and Pennsylvania Dutch Dumplings. D

Back at the restaurant, Vivian makes a pizza with mulled muscadines, and Ben tests this new creation during their first stressful pizza night in the wine shop. D

Austin City Limits  "Kacey Musgraves/Dale Watson"  Texas country reigns on the stage as contemporary songwriter Musgraves sings tunes from her album Same Trailer Different Park, while honky-tonker Watson plays tunes from throughout his career.G

Sesame Street  "Jack's Big Jump"  Everyone's excited for Jack-Be-Nimble's big jump, when suddenly Jack finds himself able to jump no more. Educational Objective: Emotional Development, Mathematics. D

Dinosaur Train  "The Earthquake/Nursery Car"  Mom takes the kids on a playdate with Tank Triceratops to the desert, where they meet a distant relative of Tank's, an early Ceratopsian named Penelope Protoceratops. The Conductor points out that Penelope lives in a part of the world that gets a lot of earthquakes, and sure enough, the kids experience their first quake with Penelope. Mom and the Conductor have prepared the kids with excellent advice about what to do in an earthquake, so everyone does fine. D

Peg + Cat  "The Messy Room Problem/The Golden Pyramid Problem"  The Messy Room Problem - Peg's Room. Peg and Cat sort through the mess in Peg's room just in time for company to come over and see Cat's masterpiece, "The Circles." Primary Content: Sorting; Secondary Content: Shapes. D

Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That!  "A Sweet Deal/King of Swing"  A Sweet Deal - Sally and Nick are having a hard time getting customers to come to their "cafe". What can they do? The Cat takes them to meet Eddy the honeyguide bird. Eddy shows them how he guides humans to bees' nests by making noise and putting on a show. D
