"Ice Age Death Trap"
Contractors in late 2010, while preparing the ground for a new dam at a reservoir near Aspen, Colorado, uncover one of the largest collections of ice age bones found in one place. In May 2011, 37 experts from 18 institutions, other workers and volunteers, unearth more than 4,800 fossils and identify 20 different vertebrate animals, including American mastodon, giant bison, ground sloths, Columbian mammoths, deer, a horse and an ancient camel.G
