Grannies On Safari  "Peru - Cusco & Machu Picchu"  Travel with the Grannies to Cusco, a world heritage site, and the former capital of the Inca civilization. At 11,900 feet high, this ancient city was not only considered sacred by the Incas but was a jewel of the Spanish colonial world. The city is considered the arts and crafts capital of Peru. D

The Seasoned Traveler  "Puerto Rico"  George Bauer explores Old San Juan's narrow streets. He visits Arecibo Observatory, Rio Camuy Cave Park and the rugged Sierra de Luquillo.G

Passport to Adventure - Expired  "The Jungles and Rivers of Costa Rica"  Costa Rica receives up to 300 inches of rainfall annually, creating lush jungles and raging rivers renowned for white water rafting and kayaking. Mark & Julie descend the infamous Rio Pacuare in rafts, then hook up with Olympic kayakers as they practice slalom racing. They explore the jungle canopy from a network of suspension bridges 350 feet in the air and take a guided tour of the Manuel Antonio preserve, which offers important lessons in biodiversity and the importance of saving the world's rain forests. Travelscope  "Guatemala - The Maya of the Western Highlands"  Joseph visits the ancient Spanish colonial capital of Antigua before climbing volcanoes and heading into Guatemala's Mayan highland villages for hard bargaining in the local markets, a leisurely visit to a coffee plantation and a weaving lesson on a traditional back-strap loom. Art Wolfe's Travels to the Edge  "Mexico: Baja"  Wolfe searches for migrating gray whales on the Sea of Cortez. Venturing inland through the unforgiving Cataviña desert, he discovers a photographer's playground of light and magical landscapes.G

Globe Trekker  "Peru & Amazon"  In Peru, Bradley Cooper follows the path of the Incas from Cuzco to Ollyantaytambo and on to glacial Ausangate Mountain to take part in the Qollyur'riti Festival. Eils Nevitt travels the Amazon by boat.G

The Seasoned Traveler  "Peru"  George Bauer's daughter Lisa joins him for a season-ending sojourn in Peru. Their travels take them to the sprawling capital city of Lima; to Cusco, former capital of the Inca Empire; and through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, site of the once-mighty Incan fortress of Ollantaytambo, considered by scientists to be perhaps the best preserved of all Incan sites. Their journey culminates in a visit to one of the world's most impressive archeological sites, the legendary lost city of Machu Picchu. D
