Freedom Riders: American Experience
An integrated band of college students in 1961 risk everything and buy a ticket on a Greyhound bus bound for the Deep South to break the grip of segregation. Filmmaker Stanley Nelson presents the first feature-length film about this band of civil-rights activists. He chronicles a chapter in American history that is a testament to the accomplishment of youth that can result from a combination of personal conviction and courage.G

Underground Railroad: The William Still Story
The first generation of his family born free, the black abolitionist and historian (1821-1902) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, sets out to get as many escaped slaves as he could across the U.S. border to safety in Canada, and to document their stories. This film uses Still's diaries, re-enactments, historical perspectives and contemporary accounts to re-create the Underground Railroad saga and Still's part in it.G
