Among the objects caught on camera are a pair of valuable medical leech jars once used to bleed patients, a curious sideboard that hides secret drawers, and a ring with a locket containing the hair of Napoleon Bonaparte.G

Rick Steves' Europe  "North England's Lake District and Durham"  Rick hikes through the green mountain playground of the Cumbrian Lake District. He tours a slate mine and conquers stony summits. He also meets local residents, their dogs and sheep; plays cricket, hikes Hadrian's Wall; and is dazzled by Durham's Norman cathedral.G
