Then, equipment expert Adam Ried reveals his top pick for box graters in the Equipment Corner, and tasting expert Jack Bishop challenges Chris to a tasting of canned whole tomatoes. And finally, test cook Bryan Roof uncovers the secrets to making the best Quick Mushroom Ragu with lots of mushroom flavor. D

Crafting at the Spotted Canary  "Things That Bling"  We're adding sparkle to our day with headbands, necklaces, earrings, and bracelets. Learn the techniques behind these sparkly creations. Sparkle expert Dale Nicholson appears with Joy to demonstrate basic jewelry making techniques. D

Globe Trekker  "Bangladesh"  Holly begins her trip in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh and the seventh largest city in the world. She then travels to Sunderban National Park for an encounter with Bengal tigers and a trek deep into the forest to find honey. Along the way, Holly visits a "floating" school, charms snakes, harvests tea in the hills of Sylhet, visits the ship-breaking yards in Chittagong and relaxes in the seaside resort of Cox's Bazaar near the Myanmar border. D

Artist Toolbox  "Massimo & Lella Vignelli"  "Design must be intellectually elegant," poses Massimo Vignelli. "What is intellectually elegant? Well, it's the opposite of vulgar." As the man behind such simple and beautiful design from the Helvetica font to the New York Subway map, the design world is indebted to this pragmatic yet lyrical designer. D

Sun Studio Sessions  "The Black Lillies"  The Black Lillies are rising Americana stars who describe their music as indie roots rock via Appalachia. In this episode, the band performs several tracks including selections from their latest release "100 Miles from Wreckage.". D

Austin City Limits  "Spoon"  An Austin institution, Spoon tunes up for indie rock to highlight its latest album Transference.G

Great Performances at the Met  "Aida"  Aida, an Ethiopian princess, is captured and brought into slavery in Egypt. A military commander, Radames, struggles to choose between his love for her and his loyalty to the Pharaoh. To complicate the story further, Radames is loved by the Pharaoh's daughter Amneris, although he does not return her feelings. D
