Dialogue  "Israeli-Palestinian Relations"  As talks between Israelis and Palestinians start up once again, host Marcia Franklin talks with an Israeli and a Palestinian about conversations they have organized between their respective communities as a result of funding from a Boise non-profit. Eden Fuchs, a former colonel in the Israeli Defense Forces, and Ibrahim Issa, a Palestinian educator, are part of the Center for Emerging Futures, started by a Boise couple.G

Oregon Field Guide  "Meth Labs, Yurt Skiing, Weather"  This episode includes a look at how meth labs are moving from the cities to remote areas like the Elkhorn Range near Baker and bringing toxic chemicals that are being dumped, creating environmental time bombs.G

Joseph Rosendo's Travelscope  "Taiwan Lantern Festival"  Joseph, a winner of the 2013 Taiwan Tourism Festival Awards, deepens his understanding of Taiwan and its people by criss-crossing the island during the Taiwan Lantern Festival. A celebration of light, culture and tradition, the festival is a Chinese holiday more than 2, 000 years old. Joseph discovers that while the Taiwan Lantern Festival has its electric side, it also values the human touch. D

How to Travel The World for Free  "Everything Is Different"  Michael Wigge sets off in Germany without any money. His travel companions along the way are socialists, freegans and the eccentric millionaire Harold. Working on a container ship, Wigge crosses the Atlantic Ocean free of charge. D

Art Wolfe's Travels to the Edge  "Bolivia: The Altiplano"  Bolivia's high plain is a land lost in time, rugged, remote and more lunar than earthly in appearance. Wolfe records the world's largest salt flat, an island of golden cactus, scarlet-tinted lakes, twin volcanoes and surreal skies.G
