This American Land  "Beaver Builders, Wrangling Water, Body Electric, Census in the Smokies"  In eastern Oregon, researchers are doing some extreme fieldwork (snorkeling in rivers and streams in the middle of the night, in the middle of winter). They seek to learn more about how beaver dams are helping to create healthier streams and rivers for salmon, trout, songbirds and nearby communities.G

DCI Banks  "Playing with Fire"  DCI Banks and DS Annie Cabbot are called to investigate an arson attack that caused two narrow boats to go up in flames. They discover a body in each boat. But now the detectives must determine who was the intended victim - the lonely book dealer, or the young girl, out of it on heroin.G
