Globe Trekker  "Globe Trekker Food Hour: Southern China"  New Zealand chef Peter Gordon discovers the roots of Cantonese cuisine. His journey takes him north to Lianzhou, the mountain home of the Yao tribe, where he cooks succulent spiced pork. Next he walks the rice fields of the Pearl River Delta, cooks up a feast for boat racing crews in Guangzhou, shops in the fabled market of Qingping, and samples street fare in Chaozhou.G

Outdoor Idaho  "Summit Idaho"  Cameras capture four groups of mountain climbers who reach the summits of four Idaho mountain peaks - Vienna Peak in the Sawtooth National Recreation Area, Gilmore Peak in the Lemhi Mountain Range, He Devil in the Seven Devils Mountains, and the Scotchman Peak in Scotchman Peaks of the Panhandle. The steep assents in winter and summer culminate in magnificent views of four different Idaho terrains.G

Dialogue  "Miss Representation"  Filmmaker Jennifer Seibel Newsom talks with host Marcia Franklin about making the documentary, Miss Representation, which explores how inaccurate portrayals of women by the media are connected to the under-representation of women in positions of power and influence.G

Oregon Experience  "Oystermen"  Oysters have played a distinctive role in Pacific Northwest history. This film explores how, as Euro-Americans settled in this region, the native oyster became one of the first natural resources to be exploited on a large scale - and one of the first to be depleted.G

Joseph Rosendo's Travelscope  "Riding The Range In Southern Alberta, Canada"  Joseph visits ancient, sacred and historic native sites. He celebrates the rich heritage of the Blackfoot First Nations people. Then he saddles up and rides into the Alberta foothills in search of strays with Lucas family members on their ranch.G
