Smart Travels - Pacific Rim With Rudy Maxa  "Sydney"  Australia's stunning metropolis, Sydney seduces with its glorious harbor, carefree attitude and sunny beaches. From the Opera house to the Harbor Bridge to Circular Quay Rudy basks in the sights along the harbor. Then, it's pub hopping in the old Rocks quarter, admiring aboriginal art, and a watery adventure at the aquarium. D

The Desert Speaks  "Of Drought and Fire"  Within the last three decades there have been large wildfires consuming the forests in nearly all the mountain ranges above the desert southwest. Just below the ranges, the lack of rains combined with invasive species has caused additional wildfires that have devastated portions of the Sonoran Desert. The link between drought and fire has pre-historic roots and host David Yetman and Tom Swetnam from the University of Arizona's Laboratory of Tree-Ring Research travel through the desert to higher elevations that contain evidence of drought, fire, and civilization. D

At this Indiana farm, however, it's dad who's returned to the farm after a long career away from the land. Akiba Howard visits a Nebraska wheat farm where the parents are giving their young children the skills to one day take over their farming operations. D

P. Allen Smith's Garden Home  "Shape and Form"  After pointing out examples at the Garden Home Retreat, Allen heads to Kentucky for a tour of Churchill Downs race track. He also visits the Arkansas governor mansion, where bare root roses are being planted.G

First they see two ants, and after looking at them through their magnifying glass, they learn that ants never sleep. Next they see two ladybugs and learn that ladybugs smell with their feet. D

Dinosaur Train  "Adventure Camp: Zip Lining/Adventure Camp: Canyon Hiking"  The Nature Trackers Adventure Campers are back for another adventure and this time they'll be travelling to a rainforest! Once they arrive in the dense, overgrown rainforest, the campers explore different levels of the ecosystem, including the forest floor and the canopy of leaves at the top of the forest. After a hike through the rainforest, the campers' fun adventure culminates as each kid takes a ride on a zip line, where they all get a bird's eye view of the entire rainforest! The Nature Trackers Adventure Campers are led by Mr. Conductor and Gilbert on a hike down a canyon where they can see the different layers of the Mesozoic Era! At first Lily Lambeosaurus is reluctant to go, thinking that a new adventure sounds hard, but Don convinces her that a new adventure can be worth the effort. At the bottom of the canyon, the kids play Dinoball and then dig for fossils. D

Peg + Cat  "The Chicken Problem/The Space Creature Problem"  The Chicken Problem - The Farm. Peg and Cat have to get 100 chickens back in the coop before the farmer sees. Primary Content: Size correspondence; Secondary Content: The number 100. D

Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That!  "Teeny Weeny Adventure/I See Seeds"  Teeny Weeny Adventure - Nick has spotted a tiny ladybug, but Sally has found an even smaller ant! And there's nothing smaller than an ant. Or is there? Cat takes Nick and Sally to meet a variety of single-celled creatures, the smallest anywhere! Nick and Sally soon learn that a drop of water holds a whole lot more than they ever realized! I See Seeds - Sally and Nick are going on an adventure, but how are they going to get there? Skateboard? Train? Rocketship? They just can't decide, until Cat suggests they see how trees send their seeds on trips. They follow different seeds as they travel through the air, float on the water and hitch rides on animals. D

WordGirl  "A Better Mousetrap: Part 1/A Better Mousetrap: Part 2"  A Better Mousetrap: Part 1 - On the latest episode of "Getting the Scoop with Scoops," Scoops interviews WordGirl, reminiscing about her victorious adventures defeating Dr. Two Brains. Humiliated and worried about his villainous reputation, Dr. Two Brains hijacks the television studio with a Goop Ray to give WordGirl her final interview. A Better Mousetrap: Part 2 - In an attempt to maintain his dignity, Dr. Two Brains' takes over Scoops' talk show. D

Science Trek  "Simple Machines"  Simple machines include the lever, the inclined plane, the wedge, the pulley, the wheel and axle, and the screw. Combine these simple machines and you can create almost anything that makes work easier. Host Joan Cartan-Hansen is joined by John Gardner and Kathryn Devine. Woody Sobey of the Discovery Center of Boise will also do a special demonstration of simple machines.G

Dialogue  "Preserving Public Memory"  Brent Glass, director emeritus of the Smithsonian's Museum of American History, talks about the ways in which museums, historical sites and memorials are increasingly involving the public in their exhibits, and the importance of preserving public memory.G

Infinity Hall Live  "Fountains of Wayne"  If you love serious, brooding, sonically experimental musical artists, then Fountains of Wayne is not the group for you. Full of bright guitars, wry lyrics and catchy hooks, the foursome manages to create upbeat songs that both reference classic melodic British pop while staying wholly modern, American and slightly adolescent. Many music critics have dubbed the band's sound as power pop, but frontman and vocalist Chris Collingwood has other ideas. D

Despite still adjusting to changes, Sherlock finds he must stop an imminent threat of terrorist attack on London's underground tube system.G
