He learns the kids have the Network Interface Card - the final piece he needs. But the kids have also found a map that leads them to Coop, Slider's long lost father. They are shocked to discover Coop has been a victim of magnetite. D

Winemakers  "Food and Wine Pairing Challenge"  Understanding wine's relationship to food is essential if you want to become a good wine maker. The contestants work in three teams of two and are given a challenging three course menu, a budget of only $150 dollars and an hour to find the right wines to pair with the meal. Their guests are wine buyers for some of the country's largest restaurants and retail chains, the executive wine editor for Food & Wine Magazine and top sommeliers who grill them on their choices. D

Burt Wolf: What We Eat  "How Sweet It Is: The Story of Sugar"  Sugar started out in Asia, traveled to the Middle East and then to Europe first as a medicine and then as a rare spice. During his second voyage in 1493, Columbus brought it to the Caribbean where it changed into a common necessity, became a key element in the Caribbean slave trade and an early example of capitalist manufacturing. We'll find out why people who had a sweet tooth had a better chance of surviving than people who didn't and how sugar became the basis for England's international trade, a key element in the control of Britain's working class, and an essential part of the temperance movement. Habitable Planet, The  "Energy Challenges"  Global energy use increases by the day. Polluting the atmosphere with ever more carbon dioxide is not a viable solution for our future energy needs. Can new technologies such as carbon sequestration and ethanol production help provide the energy we need without pushing the concentrations of CO2 to dangerous levels?G
