They are harpooning not because it is archaic, but because it is the most sustainable modern method for preserving the most sought-after fish in the sea. D

First, Wild Nature Survivor Guy finds a tomato plant and bites into a ripe tomato. D

Dinosaur Train  "That's Not A Dinosaur/Tiny's Garden"  The kids visit the Big Pond to attend the Biome Block Party. While attempting to win the leaf-necklace contest, Keenan Chirostemotes claims the Pteranodon sibs can't compete for the prize for "dinosaur" with the most leaves because they are not dinosaurs. This launches the kids into a song called "That's Not a Dinosaur", as all the non-dinosaurs sing their piece. D

Super Why!  "Woofster Finds A Home"  Whyatt goes to a pet adoption fair in Storybrook Village where he meets a little puppy who needs a family. Whyatt promises to look in a book to help until the puppy reveals he has a story of his own! As the superhero readers travel through the book Woofster Finds a Home, they find exciting ways to overcome obstacles and a new super reader joins the team! Educational Objectives: To learn what it means to find a home. Preschoolers will identify the letters N, I, C, E, practice the magic of spelling, and learn what the words "menacing," "prairie" and "no trespassing" mean! And, they'll use the power to read to change the story. D

Dialogue  "Gov. Cecil Andrus"  On this week's DIALOGUE, host Marcia Franklin talks with four-term Idaho Gov. Cecil D. Andrus and one of his former press secretaries, Chris Carlson. Carlson has written a book about his experiences working for Andrus titled Idaho?s Greatest Governor. The two discuss Andrus' personal and political philosophies, as well as what they consider the highlights of his career. The former governor also weighs in on current political issues, such as the partisanship in Congress, President Obama's performance, the Occupy movement, wilderness designation and salmon recovery.G

South American archaeological expert Axel Nielsen guides host David Yetman through the premier museum of South America, the Royal Tombs of Sipan, which house some of the richest gold artifacts in the world. From there, they trek to Huaca del Sol and Huaca del Luna, immense pyramids that emphasize the duality and symbolism of the pre-Incan societies. D
