As part of the 30th anniversary of the eruption of Mount St. Helens, photographer Michael Lienau tells his story of survival and personal perspectives after living through an eruption a few days after the main blast. Lienau, then 20, was part of a film crew capturing the first ground-level shots of the devastation's aftermath. Crew members narrowly escape death themselves and are missing for three days after the eruption.G
