The Desert Speaks  "Ancient Andean Civilizations"  La Paz, Bolivia, at nearly 12,000 feet, is one of the highest cities in the world and the mystical home to a variety of religious beliefs as evidenced by the amulets and ceremonial items sold in the Witches' Market in the city center. The surrounding countryside holds the remains of the Tiahuanacos whose culture, impressive rockwork and irrigation accomplishments were a source of inspiration to the Incas. After exploring the archeological wonders of the area, take a side trip down the aptly-named "Most Dangerous Road in the World" - a narrow, precipitous dirt road that snakes its way along the sheer cliffs of the Andes. Equitrekking  "Vermont"  Equitrekking host Darley Newman visits the Mountain Top Inn outside of Killington to explore the area's Green Mountains trails and learn the art of driving with two large Clydesdales. At the Vermont Icelandic Horse Farm, Darley experiences the smooth gaits of the Icelandic horse on a multi-day inn-to-inn ride through meadows, woods and old farm lands in the Mad River Valley. Next, Darley visits the University of Vermont's Morgan Horse Farm to learn about Vermont's state animal and UVM's historic breeding program, which dates back to 1878. D

Well it just so happens that the Cat knows a lot about tails! He brings them to the Jungle of Wagga-Tag-Tail where they meet a number of animals with very different tails. When Nick and Sally get to test out all of these tails for themselves, they learn that different tails can do different things! Sticky Situation - Sally and Nick are playing the drums on overturned buckets when Nick breaks his drumstick! Luckily, the Cat knows someone who is a stick expert, his friend Betty Beaver! She finds Nick the perfect drumstick, but when her dam springs a leak, Nick, Sally and the Cat help her fix it, using Nick's new stick. He doesn't have a stick anymore, but Nick learns an even better way to drum: using a home-made beaver tail!. D

The show visits with people collecting, preserving and rebuilding the histories of Idaho lookouts.
