Dees, an attorney, is known for his cases against white supremacist groups. He led the civil lawsuit in 2000 against Richard Butler and the Aryan Nations in Idaho which ultimately bankrupted the group. Franklin asks Dees to reflect back on that case, talks with him about the other human rights issues in which he has been involved since then, and asks him how he views the civil rights landscape at this time in American history.G

Idaho Homefront: Of Camps and Combat   When more than 100,000 American Japanese were forced from the West Coast into internment camps, nearly 10,000 were held at the Minidoka Camp in Idaho. When the young men were at last allowed to volunteer to fight for their country and become part of the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, some 1,000 volunteered from the Minidoka Camp. This is the story of Idaho's internment camp experiences and battle-seasoned veterans.G
