Adobe not only has a remarkable period of longevity, but also has thermal capabilities, making it ideal for the hot dry desert. Yetman and Vint spend time at the San Xavier Mission to watch a restoration crew use new adobe to repair and restore the existing adobe exterior. D

In this episode, learn how Franklin introduced tofu to America and watch Chef Walter cook Fried Lafayette Fish, Curried Tofu with Shrimp, Turbot and Braised Romaine, in the hearth of Bartram's kitchen. Simply Ming  "Wakiya - Ramen"  Nothing says Japan like Ramen noodles - this episode of Simply Ming brings Chef Ming Tsai on the road to the Instant Ramen Museum in Osaka, Japan. Ming also learns the secrets of cooking Ramen from famous Japanese Chef Yuji Wakiya. D

The Jazzy Vegetarian  "Good Morning Fiesta"  Host Laura Theodore prepares a zesty breakfast menu featuring "Tofu Ranchero," a slightly spicy dish served with fresh tomato sauce. For a baked treat, "Cornbread and Sweet Pepper Mini-Muffins" wakes up sleepy taste buds, while "Pineapple, Banana and Strawberry Smoothie" presents a frosty and fruity beverage to get the morning started on an energizing note. Chef's Life  "The World Is Your Oyster"  Vivian goes to Cedar Island to explore the new culture of farm-raised oysters in the Southeast. She and Ben share plans of opening an oyster bar across the street from Chef & the Farmer in hopes it will be a place that adds character and variety to the tiny town's "dining scene." Vivian and her dad orchestrate their family's first-ever oyster roast and are blown away by how much everyone enjoys it. D

Sesame Street  "Baby Bear Hates Tee Ball"  Papa Bear is excited to teach Baby Bear T-Ball, but Baby Bear would rather draw the ball than hit it. Educational Objective: Self-Regulation. D

Dinosaur Train  "That's Not A Dinosaur/Tiny's Garden"  The kids visit the Big Pond to attend the Biome Block Party. While attempting to win the leaf-necklace contest, Keenan Chirostemotes claims the Pteranodon sibs can't compete for the prize for "dinosaur" with the most leaves because they are not dinosaurs. This launches the kids into a song called "That's Not a Dinosaur", as all the non-dinosaurs sing their piece. D

Peg + Cat  "The Slop Problem/The Birthday Present Problem"  The Slop Problem - The Farm. Peg and Cat enlist the Teens to help them figure out how to clean filthy farm animals of various sizes. Primary Content: More, less; Secondary Content: Counting by fives up to 25. D

Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That!  "Flutter By Butterfly/Pretty In Pink"  Flutter By Butterfly - Sally and Nick are pretending to be butterflies, but they're not very good at it. The Cat takes them to meet Bernadette the Monarch butterfly, who can teach them all about fluttering. Following Bernadette from Milky Weed Meadow to Prickly Pines forest they learn that butterfly wings are used for so much more than just fluttering! Pretty in Pink - Sally and Nick are having fun trying out different moves when the Cat arrives to show them some cool moves of his own. D

WordGirl  "Two Brains Forgets/Banned on the Run"  Two Brains Forgets - It looks like all is lost when Dr 2-Brains discovers WordGirl's secret identity! But some quick thinking, some help from the Botsford family, and a little luck save the day when 2-Brains' amnesia ray ends up working on the Doc himself. Banned on the Run - Mr. Big finally cheats his way to becoming the town Mayor - and his first order of business is to ban Word Girl! WG and Huggy must restore order to the town and undo all of the silly laws Mr Big keeps passing. D

The Mind of a Chef  "Gluttony"  It's gluttonous goodness in this episode - over-the-top indulgence with Joe Beef chefs Federic Morin and David McMillian's foie gras sandwich, a whiskey tasting mayhem with Chef Sean Brock at Buffalo Trace in Kentucky and the classic dish "Hot Brown" served up three ways. D

Rick Steves' Europe  "North Wales: Feisty and Poetic"  Rick takes in Mount Snowdon, medieval castles and Victorian promenades. He learns a bit of Welsh, follows a miner deep into a slate mine, and herds sheep with a clever dog.G

Not wanting to miss the investiture of even a junior level, Susan commands that Ben attend the ceremony, leading to a sticky result.G
