Sesame Street  "The Bubblefest"  It's Bubblefest on Sesame Street and Alan and Chris are the leaders of the festivities. Telly is excited since he has never blown a bubble before. Everyone starts blowing bubbles but when Telly gives it a try, he blows way too hard and is unable to make a bubble. D

Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood  "Daniel Gets Mad/Katerina Gets Mad"  Daniel Gets Mad - Daniel Tiger and Prince Wednesday are looking forward to playing at the beach. Then it starts to rain and Mom Tiger says they can't go outside, which makes them very mad. After Mom Tiger helps the boys deal with their mad feelings and they're calm, they come up with a grr-ific plan to make a beach - indoors! Katerina Gets Mad - It's New Instrument Day at Music Man Stan's Music Shop. D

Martha Speaks  "Nurse Martha/TD Gets The Scoop"  Nurse Martha - Being able to translate animal speech sure comes in handy when Martha gets a job as the vet's assistant. TD Gets the Scoop - Carolina is starting a newspaper, the Carolina Town Crier, and she needs some crack reporters to track down the news.G

NOVA  "Emergency Mine Rescue"  In 2010 when 33 miners were trapped under nearly a half-mile of solid rock in a collapsed mine in Chile, NOVA cameras documented the 69-day ordeal. A global team of engineers work around the clock to rescue the trapped miners. Animations and interviews reveal the feats of engineering that successfully bring the miners safely to the surface.G

The Desert Speaks  "Boom and Bust in a Desert Town"  The small town of Quartzsite, Arizona, located just 20 miles east of the Colorado River, has been a rock hound's paradise since the 1960s. These days, this former stagecoach town is also a mecca to well over a million visitors each year, most of whom converge on it in a wave of RV's during the months of January and February. Thousands of vendors of rocks, gems, minerals, fossils and everything else imaginable create one of the world's largest open-air flea markets. D

Ciao Italia  "Handmade Fresh Cheese/Formaggio Fresco Fatto A Mano"  Boston Mozzarella Co. owner Giuseppe Argentieri invites Mary Ann to his factory, to visit with master cheese-maker Maria Cubellis, who shapes and forms mozzarella balls faster than the eye can see. She gives Mary Ann enough to go nella cucina - in the kitchen -- to prepare Burrata with Roasted, Marinated asparagus, Scamorza Cheese Casserole, Telephone Wires, and tops off this cheese festival with a lighter-than-air, Whipped Ricotta Parfait with Cherries. Taste of History  "David Rittenhouse's Orrery"  David Rittenhouse taught himself Newton's Laws by the age of 13. Soon after, he became an expert clockmaker, and then a Professor of Astronomy. Rittenhouse created an orrery, an elaborate machine to track the movements of the sun, the moon and the stars. D

Simply Ming  "Jamie Bissonnette & Breaking Down A Chicken"  On this episode of SIMPLY MING, Ming shows you one of his top techniques for a home cook to master, breaking down a chicken. "Buying a whole bird is so much cheaper than chicken parts", says Ming. With the help of Boston Chef Jamie Bissonnette, a nose to tail specialist, Ming shows viewers how much more mileage you can get out of a whole bird. D

America's Test Kitchen from Cook's Illustrated  "Sweet Summer Endings"  Test cook Julia Collin Davison uncovers the secrets to fresh Strawberry Pie. Next, equipment expert Adam Ried reviews paring knives in the Equipment Corner. And finally, test cook Yvonne Ruperti shows host Christopher Kimball how to make the ultimate Summer Peach Cake, and science expert Guy Crosby reveals why water makes pie pastry tough. D

We'll figure out what that means and take the steps to make that room draw the family back in to spend some time together. We begin with decluttering and updating a family room. D

Austin City Limits  "Dave Matthews Band"  Since their debut in the early 90s, the Dave Matthews Band has combined the worlds of jam and pop to win multiple Grammys and gain a permanent position as one of America's top concert draws. With Matthews' introspective lyrics and distinctive vocal timbre and a stellar group of musicians, this Virginia-based band has created some of the most memorable music of the last decade.G

Sesame Street  "Rocco's Boat"  Elmo is playing with his doll, Baby David, in a large washtub. The doll is floating in a tube, and Zoe comes by and asks if Rocco, her pet rock, can swim too. Elmo reluctantly agrees. D

Dinosaur Train  "Arnie Rides The Flatcar/Old Reliable"  Buddy, Tiny, and Mom visit their very large sauropod friend, Arnie Argentinosaurus, and his dad. Arnie has grown bigger since our kids have seen him and is now too big to ride on the Dinosaur Train anymore. Tiny and Buddy arrange with Mr. Conductor for Arnie to be the first big dinosaur to ride on the newest Dinosaur Train car - the flatbed car! Mr. Pteranodon and Mr. Lambeosaurus take all the kids to see a field of geysers - holes in the ground that hot water shoots out from! At the same time, Mrs. Pteranodon and Mrs. Lambeosaurus are relaxing nearby in soothing pools of warm water, called hot springs. D

Super Why!  "The Three Feathers"  All aboard! Pig and his brothers are building a train set but Pig's negative attitude has stopped him in his tracks! The Super Readers encounter a young prince about to embark on a race to find a magic carpet! The only problem is the prince doesn't think he can do it! As the Super Readers journey towards the magic carpet, they wonder if they'll be able to change the prince's outlook. Educational Objectives: To learn about the power of positive thinking, practice the alphabet and spelling skills, identify the letters U, N, L, O, C, K and use the power to read to change the story!. D

Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That!  "Dress Up Day/Bathtime"  Dress Up Day - Nick and Sally are playing dress up, but oh no! Sally's princess dress has torn, and mom doesn't have any silk thread to fix it. Cat takes them to his good friend Mindy, the silk caterpillar. Mindy shows them how she makes silk. D

Wild Kratts  "Platypus Cafe"  While kayaking in Australia, Martin and Chris encounter one of the world's most unusual creatures, a platypus mother with her eggs. But unscrupulous endangered animal chef, Gourmand, plans on making the platypus eggs his next delicacy. The Wild Kratts team must use the special "sixth sense" of the platypus to save the eggs. D

Sara's Weeknight Meals  "Mi Famiglia: Italian Family Style with Giuseppe Fanelli"  Guiseppe Fanelli is the chef of one of Sara's favorite Italian restaurants, Tre Dici, and today he shares home-style Italian recipes like Bruschetta al Tonno - a simple and delicious tuna bruschetta. His Agnello Scottadito with Heirloom Tomato Salad mixes tender lamb with the freshness of a homegrown tomato salad. And of course, there's pasta. D

Rick Steves' Europe  "Burgundy: Profound France"  Rick takes time to enjoy the region's edible, drinkable, scenic and floatable delights. He travels on a canal barge, visits a medieval hospice and a modern monastery, builds a barrel, appreciates fine Burgundy wine, slurps escargot and eats well.G

Mr. Bean  "Hair By Mr. Bean of London"  On a trip to the hairdresser, Bean is able to pocket some money and make a mess of other people's hair.G
