Passport to Adventure  "Patagonia, Chile - Condors, Lakes and Glaciers in Aysen"  Our journey continues in the southern part of the region, where glaciers loom over crystal clear lakes, cows graze beneath snow-covered peaks, and fly-fishermen come in search of their nirvana. Julie kayaks through magnificent marble caves, hikes on a glacier, shares "mate" with the local fishermen, and enjoys pisco sours with an interesting mix of innkeepers. D

Globe Trekker  "Globe Trekker Food Hour: Scandinavia"  Merrilees Parker takes a culinary tour mixed with Viking history and heritage.G

Live from the Artists Den  "Mayer Hawthorne"  At the start of this performance at the Grand Ballroom of the Park Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles, Hawthorne announces to the invitation-only crowd of 400 that "tonight, the secret word is fun." He and his band, The Country, blaze through two dozen songs, in his updated classic soul style, infused with everything from doo-wop to hip-hop. Songs include selections from a new album, How Do You Do, and fan favorites such as "Green Eyed Love."G

Austin City Limits  "Steve Martin/Sarah Jarosz"  Austin's own Jarosz, age 19, opens with her original bluegrass songs and is backed up by two equally talented teenage musicians. Comedian Steve Martin shows off his musicianship on the banjo. He appears with North Carolina's Steep Canyon Rangers; together they present much of the music and some of the jokes from the live show they toured the nation with in spring 2010.G

Les Paul: Live In New York City   In 2005 at the Iridium Jazz Club, a raucous and unadorned Les Paul works the nocturnal chaos in the subterranean joint like the vaudevillian the late guitarist was at heart. Paul, with his trio, is joined by Steve Miller, Keith Richards, Jose Feliciano, Dave Grisman, Sonya Hensley and others in a series of duets.G

Jazz Icons   This special highlights performances culled from the critically acclaimed series of the same name of classic concerts and studio sessions that took place in Europe between 1957 and 1978. The performances showcased here feature jazz legends who include Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Ella Fitzgerald, Dizzy Gillespie, Dave Brubeck, John Coltrane, Sarah Vaughan, Lionel Hampton, Wes Montgomery, Anita O'Day, Rhassan Roland Kirk, Buddy Rich and Thelonious Monk.G
