Personal Goals, Many Avenues

Planned Giving goals can be accomplished via many different avenues. Among the types of gifts Idaho Public Television can receive are:

• Deferred gifts postpone the benefit to Idaho Public Television until some time in the future and the donor benefits from the gift in the interim period.
• Planned Gifts include those gifts, whether given current or deferred, that require the assistance of a professional staff person or the individual’s advisors to complete the gift.
• Non-Cash Gifts such as real estate, closely held corporate stock, life insurance, jewelry, collections, etc., can often be welcome contributions to Idaho Public Television. However, Idaho Public Television is prepared to accept these non-cash gifts only after a full case-by-case review of the gift.

It is recognized that the solicitation, planning and administration of a charitable gift can be a complex process involving philanthropic, personal, financial, tax, and estate planning considerations. It is best if you, your advisors, and representatives of Idaho Public Television work together to structure a gift that achieves a fair and proper balance between your interests and the mission of Idaho Public Television.
