The Idaho Debates

For more than two decades, Idaho Public Television has been Idaho's 'station of record' for candidate debates. This fall (2008), we'll continue that tradition with debates for the statewide general election races.

Until then, see what candidates had to say in their primary election debates on our Video Archive page.

Candidates are selected for the debates by the League of Women Voters, the Idaho Press Club and Idaho Public Television. Among other criteria, candidates have to show that they have an "active campaign."

The Idaho Secretary of State's website has primary election results, as well as information about the November general election.
