Grand View  "Devils Postpile National Monument"  This episode explores one of the most unique phenomena in geology; Hexagonal pillars of Basalt lava that were revealed during the last Ice Age. Located in the Eastern Sierra, this rare and beautiful feature ranks as one of the world's finest examples of columnar basalt. The region reveals a volatile geologic history, with reminders bubbling up from the valley floor. D

Their quest beings at the city's charming Sunday flea market, Lagunilla, where they check out some simple, yet mouthwatering tortas, with a succulent filling of salt cod bacalao. Next stop: Don Polo, a gleaming 1950s-style chrome and neon diner, famous for its menu of griddled tortas. D

Theater Talk  "Star Quality: The World of Noel Coward"  A tour of the New York Public Library for The Performing Arts' exhibition "Star Quality: The World of Noel Coward" guided by historian Barry Day with Coward's long-time friend and colleague, Geoffrey Johnson. D

Closer to Truth  "How Is God The Creator?"  If God exists, did God create everything? Did God create out of literally "nothing"? Suppose there was no beginning to the cosmos, just the universe going through endless cycles, what then? And what about "abstract objects" like logic and numbers, which seem to exist without any cause and no creator?. D
