Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That!  "Meet The Beetles/Tongue Tied"  Meet the Beetles - Nick and Sally must protect their cookie jar from cookie snatchers! But how? Well by meeting three of the Cat's beetle friends, that's how! Stan the Giant Stag beetle shows them how to look scary, while Cliff the Click beetle teaches them to make a noise them jump! And Bobbi the Bombardier beetle has a stinky surprise for those that try to sneak up on her. Now Nick and Sally can keep their cookies safe! Tongue Tied - Mmm, there's nothing better than a blueberry popsicle, even though it makes your tongue blue! Speaking of tongues, the Cat has some friends with marvelous tongues! The kids meet Treetop Tom and see how his tough tongue can pick food off of thorny branches. Then Snifty the boa snake shows them how she uses her tongue to smell. D

Bob the Builder  "Listen to Your Friends"  Scratch and the Dream Home US - Bob, Wendy and the machines are at Farmer Pickles' Farm, ready to build Spud's new room. Spud decides that if it's his dream room, he can have whatever he wants! Spud enlists Scratch's help to make sure his dream room takes shape exactly how he wants it. The other machines think that Spud and Scratch should wait and follow Bob's plans. D

Thomas & Friends  "Fun in the Snow"  Let it Snow - Gordon and Thomas go to Misty Island to collect logs for Farmer McColl's animal shelter. The Logging Locos tell them that there is no snow on Misty Island because they haven't chuffed The Misty Island Snow Song. They need to puff to the top of a hill and stay still, then go to the sea and wait patiently - then snow will appear! Gordon doesn't believe that snow will appear but Thomas begins to race to the top of the hill and to the sea as the snow song says. D

Wishbone  "Rosie, Oh, Rosie, Oh!"  This live-action program follows the exploits of Wishbone the dog and his human friends, Joe, David and Samantha through their adventures in their hometown of Oakdale. Wishbone's everyday experiences trigger his imagination and he finds himself in scenes from classic works of literature. In this episode, faulty communication separates Wishbone and Samantha from a beagle they both love. D

Il Volo Takes Flight   In May 2009, three fresh-faced teenagers, Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Ginaluca Ginoble appeared on the popular Italian talent show, Ti Lascio Una Canzone and dazzled television viewers with their flawless rendition of the Neapolitan standard "O Sole Mio." The boys who won the competition easily decided that their group needed a name. "Il Volo" meaning "flight" was chosen to signify the feeling that these three young tenors were about to spread their wings. D

Fiddler's Holiday with Jay Ungar & Molly Mason's Family Band   The group performs with the University of Mary Washington Philharmonic Orchestra in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The concert celebrates the holiday season and the winter solstice, when families gather around hearth and home, and is titled "Darkest Days, Brightest Nights." The musicians present a collection of traditional and original tunes with winter themes.G

The show also traces people and projects that contribute to its success, and looks at some of the issues leading into the future.G

Celtic Woman: A Christmas Celebration   The energetic group brings its mix of traditional Irish, contemporary and original songs to Dublin's Helix Centre to celebrate the holiday season.
