When an underwater volcano becomes an island, the fates of these two extraordinary paradoxes are linked. D

In July 1940 France signs an armistice with Germany, agreeing to return French ships to port to sit out the war. Churchill fears Germany will seize the ships. France refuses to give them to England. Churchill must decide whether to destroy the ships before they reach France.G
