One man sets a distance record for packing with horse and mule as he rides for charity. Teamsters explore part of the Oregon Trail with wagons and mules, and trail riders head into the Selkirk Mountains.G

Dialogue  "Alexandra Fuller"  Marcia Franklin interviews the author who now lives in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, but who grew up in Rhodesia, now known as Zimbabwe. Her newest book is about her mother's early years in Kenya and Rhodesia. The interview is the first of four 2012 "Conversations from the Sun Valley Writers' Conference."G

Sesame Street  "Me Am What Me Am"  A very hungry Cookie Monster is waiting for Chris to finish baking cookies, but it's hard for him to wait! Chris offers Cookie Monster carrots to eat in the meantime, and he gobbles them all up. All of a sudden Mario Lopez, a reporter for EXTRA Sesame Street, appears and announces on his show that Cookie Monster is now the Veggie Monster! Cookie Monster, panicked, explains that even though he does love to eat healthy carrots, he is not the Veggie Monster. But everyone insists on calling him the Veggie Monster anyway. D

Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood  "Daniel Waits For Show And Tell/A Night Out At The Restaurant"  Daniel Waits for Show and Tell - Daniel is so excited to share a book he made with his class at "show and tell," but he's finding it very difficult to wait. He finds that singing on Trolley, playing during science time and imagining make the waiting much easier! A Night Out at the Restaurant - Daniel and his family are going out to dinner, and Katerina is coming too. Daniel and Katerina have a hard time waiting at the restaurant, but soon learn ways to make the waiting time easier. D

With chefs from the center she cooks recipes from the book, including a classic flatbread, Piadina, and Stuffed Veal Rolls. D

Sesame Street  "Cast Iron Cooks"  Just as Alan finishes packing Elmo's lunch, the lights go down, the music goes up, and Superchef pops up and announces that Alan has been chosen as the next challenger on Cast Iron Cooks. Alan is not even sure what that is, but Chris and Elmo are excited to be his assistants. The first challenge is to prepare a bowl of P Stew, which is made up entirely of ingredients that begin with the letter P. Elmo, Chris, and Alan race around throwing P foods like pickles, peaches, and porridge into a pot. D

Dinosaur Train  "An Armored Tail Tale/Pterasaur Flying Club"  An Armored Tail Tale - The Pteranodons tag along as Hank Ankylosaurus visits the Big Pond to scout a Dinoball talent named Eugene Euoplocephalus. Eugene is a smaller version of Hank, an armored dinosaur with a giant tail-club. Hank and Eugene really hit it off, and after they all play Dinoball, Hank recruits Eugene to play on his team! Pterosaur Flying Club - Tiny and Shiny practice their swoop-de-loops and other flying moves in anticipation of their play-date with fellow Pterosaurs Petey Peteinosaurus and Quincy Quetzalcoatlus. D

Super Why!  "Zora's Art Adventure"  It's art class at school, but Pig's mind is as blank as his paper! What can he paint? The super readers venture into A Magical Art Adventure and join Zora, a young artist looking for ideas. Together, Zora and the literacy superheroes explore a magical art museum where the paintings take on a life of their own! Educational Objectives: To learn about the art world. Preschoolers will play with the alphabet, practice the magic of spelling, learn what the words "art museum" mean, and use the power to read to change the story. D

Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That!  "Jump!/Slow Down for Sloths"  Jump! - Nick and Sally can't jump high enough to get their balloon that is stuck up in a tree. Good thing The Cat knows some of the best jumpers ever! Off they go to Jumpalaroo to learn how to jump from nature's masters: grasshoppers, a kangaroo, and even a flea! Slow Down for Sloths - Nick and Sally are trying to draw a picture of a butterfly but can't get close enough to see it. Cat takes them to meet Onslow the Sloth, who teaches the kids that when you slow down, the world comes to you. D

Wild Kratts  "Mimic"  While exploring why some animals mimic the looks of others, Martin and Chris encounter a cheetah cub and its mom. But before they know it, evil fashion designer, Donita Donata, 'cat-naps' the startled mom right in front of their eyes. The Wild Kratts team springs into action on a rescue mission before Donita adds the momma cheetah to her new fall line. D

Sara's Weeknight Meals  "Latin All-Stars with Maricel Presilla"  Famed Latin American chef and food historian Maricel Presilla shares her favorite dishes and cooking techniques with Sara. Her Zucchini Cuban-Style Cherry Tomato Sofrito with Almond Cacao Picada is vegetarian, but satisfying enough for die hard carnivores. A thick and hearty Mayan Turkey Stew has the unique taste of tomatillos and tortillas on the side. D
