When the New York City police raid a Mafia-run gay bar, the Stonewall Inn in Greenwich Village, patrons refuse to be led into paddy wagons, setting off a violent three-day uprising that launches the gay-rights movement. Filmmakers talk with people who were there and feature archival footage in this chronicle of change.G
