Independent Lens  "At Berkeley"  Documentarian Frederick Wiseman turns his lens on the University of California at Berkeley, one of the world's finest research and teaching facilities. Without narration or interviews, Wiseman takes the viewer from faculty meetings to classrooms, from financial aid seminars to research laboratories, to show the myriad aspects of campus life. Filmed during the 2010 fall semester, the four-hour film reveals the administration's struggles to maintain the academic excellence, public role and diversity of the student body in the face of drastic budget cuts.G
