Great American Songbook   Musician and musicologist Michael Feinstein presents a parade of American popular songs as seen and heard at the movies. Stars featured include Al Jolson, Judy Garland and Frank Sinatra. The films preserve the sounds from the Gilded Age, New Orleans jazz through Broadway musicals and tell the story of 50 years of musical trends.G

Classical Rewind (My Music)   From the romantic mood of Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata" to the dramatic emotions of Orff's "O Fortuna," this program features well-known classical compositions that are accompanied by images of nature, fantasy, historical locations, architecture and art to reflect the emotions and scenes portrayed by the music. Interviews with contemporary performers in both the classical and popular arenas offer shared musical memories and personal favorites.G

Great Performances  "Bob Dylan: The 30th Anniversary Concert Celebration"  GREAT PERFORMANCES presents this encore of highlights from 1992's star-studded concert tribute to the American pop music icon at New York's Madison Square Garden. The camera travels from front row to backstage of the event that marks the 30th anniversary of the singer-songwriter's 1962 self-titled debut album. A parade of musical stars pay homage on stage to Dylan and perform his legendary songs.G

New Tricks  "Old School Ties"  When the body of young PE teacher Jason Bowe is discovered in woodlands adjoining a prestigious boarding school, the UCOS team is asked to investigate the case quickly and discreetly. The headmistress is preparing for an important visitor and is less than happy with the investigators' presence.G

New Chilling Tales  "The Tell Tale Heart"  The first of these 2 short films is based on the classic storiy by Edgar Allan Poe, considered to be the American Shakespeare. It stars Darren Burrows ("Northern Exposure"). Actress Jane Merrow and Idaho's Stitch Marker also appear in these shorts that Merrow produced in Idaho. Part 1 of 2G

New Chilling Tales  "Yellow Wallpaper"  The second tale is from the 19th century story THE YELLOW WALLPAPER, by Charlotte Perkins Gilman. Actress Jane Merrow stars as a woman confined to an old nursery in a dilapidated Victorian home to help calm her nerves after a breakdown. However, the opposite happens. Idaho's Stitch Marker also appears in these shorts that Merrow produced in Idaho. Part 2 of 2G
