Bolder has gathered some mares; Flint has joined a bachelor group of young guns. Who will rise to challenge Cloud?G

Outdoor Idaho  "Home on the Range"  The real heyday of the American cowboy has come and gone; but in Idaho, the hard-scrabble hero of so many of our nation's legends can still be found, riding the range on the West's public lands. It seems there will always be a place for cowboys, wherever there are cattle to be rounded up and wild horses to be tamed, and wherever there are people who love the cowboy lifestyle. As cowboy poet Rudy Gonzales reminds us, "People want to be cowboys!"G

9:30 pm
Dialogue  "Historian Nathaniel Philbrick"  Marcia Franklin talks with historian Nathaniel Philbrick, the speaker at this year's Idaho Humanities Council Distinguished Humanities Lecture. Philbrick is the author of numerous books, including most recently Bunker Hill: A City, a Siege, a Revolution, which looks at the deadliest battle of the American Revolution and how it influenced the birth of our country. A sailor, Philbrick is also known for his book, In the Heart of the Sea: The Tragedy of the Whaleship Essex, which introduced readers to the true story behind Herman Melville's Moby-Dick. It won the National Book Award in 2001, and was the basis for an American Experience documentary on PBS in 2011.G
