Globe Trekker  "Georgia & Armenia"  Trekker Ian Wright's travels begin in Yerevan, Armenia's capital. He visits the rock-hewn Gerhard Church, Lake Sevan and the Armenian Genocide Memorial in the shadow of Mount Ararat. In Georgia, he explores the capital Tbilisi and the seaside resort Batumi before heading out into the Caucasus Mountains.G

Great Performances  "Dance In America: NY Export: Opus Jazz"  The five movements of the jazz score by Robert Prince blend ballet, jazz and ballroom dancing with Latin, African and American rhythms. Now this Jerome Robbins 1958 "ballet in sneakers" takes to the streets with New York City Ballet principal dancers Ellen Bar and Sean Suozzi, filmed on locations all over the five boroughs of New York City. The 16 emblematic characters are city kids drawn together by their youth, energy and hunger for life, but this Opus Jazz takes them out of the 1950s and into today.G

Urban Nutcracker: Anatomy of a Ballet   This performance documentary goes behind-the-scenes of Anthony Williams' adaptation of the holiday classic performed by a diverse group of dancers from the community. Challenges include uniting the multi-ethnic team of dancers, artists and stage crew to present a professional-quality stage show on a non-profit budget. The show incorporates the chronology of The Nutcracker itself while capturing the preparation, real-life stories of performers and putting the show onstage before packed houses.G
