Smart Travels - Pacific Rim With Rudy Maxa  "New Zealand's South Island"  Rudy visits vast vineyards, an artists' colony where he learns about Maori bone carving, and the city of Queenstown. He braves white-water rapids on river boards and rides in a hot air balloon.G

Smart Travels - Pacific Rim With Rudy Maxa  "New Zealand's North Island"  Rudy kayaks along the coastline, follows a Maori guide to where tribes signed a treaty with European settlers, and bicycles through fruit and olive groves.G

The Seasoned Traveler  "New York State: from End to End"  New York State is much more than just The Big Apple and Niagara Falls. George Bauer's visit includes the eastern end of Long Island, home of the Hamptons but less known for its beautiful, bucolic countryside and quaint villages; the spectacular Finger Lakes district, with its picturesque communities and numerous wineries; the majestic Adirondacks; and Lake Placid. D

Burt Wolf: Travels & Traditions  "Chimayo, New Mexico"  In the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in northern New Mexico there is a small adobe sanctuary that is visited by over 300,000 people each year. It is known as the "Lourdes of America", and for thousands of years the land under the church has been considered magical by the local Native Americans. Burt Wolf tours the site, looks into the conflicting legends of its history, and investigates the miraculous healings that have been attributed to its sacred soil. D

Grannies On Safari  "India - The Golden Triangle"  The Grannies venture into this fascinating subcontinent to visit one of the world's most interesting countries - India. They explore part of what is called the Golden Triangle, beginning in the city of New Delhi and then on to Agra, home of the iconic Taj Mahal, and Jaipur, a cultural hub and glistening outpost of Indian arts, architecture and culture.G

Burt Wolf: Travels & Traditions  "Atlantic City, New Jersey"  In 1854, two real estate promoters turned a windswept island off the coast of New Jersey into America's favorite seaside resort. Burt Wolf looks at the history of Atlantic City, America's first official lifeguard service, the invention of Salt Water Taffy, and the workings of the modern slot machine. He also tours Atlantic City's hotels, casinos and restaurants, including the shop were the sub-sandwich was invented. D
