Globe Trekker  "Around The World - Silk Road: Kashgar to Istanbul"  Holly Morris picks up the journey in Central Asia. She crosses the Jiptik Pass to Osh, and explores the Kingdom of Samarkand and Bukhara. She travels the desert of Turkmenistan to the lost city of Merv and heads to the modern capital of Baku in Azerbaijan. Her trek ends in the rich bazaars of Istanbul.G

Outdoor Idaho  "Wooden Boats, Wondrous Lakes"  We follow the wake of classic boats, with their graceful lines, across Idaho's big lakes, and we meet the people who have made the restoration of wooden boats their passion. The hour-long program visits wooden boat shows in McCall, Coeur d'Alene and Sandpoint, and explores the character of these wooden works of art.G

Dialogue  "S.C. (Sam) Gwynne"  The reporter and author whose book, Empire of the Summer Moon, was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in 2011, talks with host Marcia Franklin. The book traces the rise and fall of the Comanches, the most powerful Indian tribe in American history. It also entails the epic saga of pioneer woman Cynthia Ann Parker and her mixed-blood son Quanah, who becomes the last Comanche chief.G

Joseph Rosendo's Travelscope  "Bhutan - Part 1 - Gross National Happiness"  Travel is a life-changing experience, though often these changes come when least expected. Joseph heads to the Kingdom of Bhutan, a devout Buddhist country, fully aware of the possibilities for enlightenment that Bhutan offers him and his viewers. His trip through the "Land of the Thunder Dragon" begins in Paro with a conversation with an esteemed Buddhist master and an invitation to watch a local thangka (spiritual art) artist at work. D

Idaho Homefront: World War II   Idahoans and the nation go to war in 1941 - some far away, some here at home. The times are intense and a generation raised during the Great Depression comes of age under the gun. This Idaho Public Television production meets men and women who experienced World War II on the battlefield and at home. They share their memories, their emotions and their knowledge of the era.G
