Smart Travels - Europe with Rudy Maxa  "A Music Lover's Europe"  For a totally different view of Europe, Rudy shows smart travelers how to organize a trip around a theme. Rudy discovers surprising and fresh takes on Europe as he sets out on a music lover's tour. Winning, live performances by the Sicilian folk band Diascouri, and by Groupo Emiliano, a zany, classically-trained quartet from Emilia Romagna, are the backbone of this offbeat trip. D

The Desert Speaks  "Tracks in the Shifting Sand"  Explore one of the largest dune fields in North America at the Imperial Sand Dunes National Recreation Area. The Algodones Dunes in Southern California stretch across more than two hundred square miles and are visited by more than 1.4 million people each year, most of whom use some sort of off-road vehicle. A state highway splits the northern part of the dune field between wilderness and recreational area, but the task of monitoring the usage creates problems of its own. D

Ciao Italia  "Organic Pasta/Pasta Organico"  Mary Ann travels to Valicenti Organico, in Hollis, New Hampshire to make pasta with owners David and Michelle Valicenti, whose secret to fantastic fresh pasta is simple ingredients and lots of patience and love. David starts off with his Lobster-filled Ravioli, and then Michelle prepares her unbeatably terrific Gluten-free Fettucine with Basil Pesto. Great pastas, great folks, great fun. D

Taste of History  "Dolley & James Madison - Entertaining at Montpelier, Part 2"  In this second episode at James and Dolley Madison's estate, Montpelier, Chef Walter learns more about how the Madison's dined and entertained at their beautiful home. In honor of the Madisons, Chef Walter prepares a menu befitting a Presidential state dinner: Virginia Ham and Oysters, Roast Pheasant with Cornmeal Stuffing and Peas a la Francaise. D

Simply Ming  "On The Road In Chattanooga with Guest Daniel Lindley"  Ming goes where he's never gone before as he heads south to Chattanooga, Tennessee to cook with renowned local chef, Daniel Lindley of St. John's Restaurant. Together they shop for inspiration at local Chattanooga markets to come up with two distinct dishes that call upon the region's heritage and culinary uniqueness. D

The Jazzy Vegetarian  "Dazzling Chocolate Desserts"  Host Laura Theodore prepares her luscious chocolate culinary creations. The line up includes; "Triple Chocolate Brownies," a quintessential chocolate treat, followed by "Pots de Creme" a delectable, rich tasting pudding. Scrumptious "Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins" are up next and "Chocolate Truffle Trio" rounds out this dazzling dessert line up. D

Martha Bakes  "Meringue"  Join Martha as she shares the secrets to foolproof meringue, such as using a copper bowl and adding a touch of cream of tartar. Once the basics are mastered, Martha teaches one of her favorites, pavlova with passion fruit, plus an impressive ile flottante and a Huguenot torte. D

Austin City Limits  "Wilco"  Modern rock band Wilco returns to the AUSTIN CITY LIMITS stage with tunes from its album The Whole Love.G

Sesame Street  "Thinks Oscar Is A Prince"  Chris is reading Abby a story about a princess who kisses a frog and turns him into a prince. Now, Abby thinks that someone on Sesame Street could be an enchanted prince and she thinks that someone could be Oscar. After all, he's green like a frog and no one could really be that grouchy unless he's a prince who was turned into a grouch. D

1:00 pm 
Dinosaur Train  "Dinos A to Z, Part 1, The Big Idea/Dinos A to Z, Part 2, Spread The Word"  While riding the Dinosaur Train with Buddy and Mom, Tiny gets the idea to gather all the dinosaurs in the `Dinosaurs A to Z' song for a picnic at Troodon Town. The Conductor agrees, and the Train starts picking up dinosaurs, as Tiny and Buddy help keep track of how many of the different species have come on board, and where they are on the dinosaur A to Z list. The Dinosaur Train continues traveling around the Mesozoic picking up more and more dinosaurs that are in the `Dinosaurs A to Z' song, on the way to a picnic at Troodon Town. D

Super Why!  "Cinderella"  Red doesn't feel like much of a Princess, so how will she fit in at Sleeping Beauty's princess party? The Super Readers magically leap into the book of Cinderella who has a party of her own to get to! When the clock strikes midnight, Red learns that she doesn't need the help of a fairy godmother to feel great about who she is!G

Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That!  "I Love The Nightlife/Oh Give Me A Home!"  I Love the Nightlife - Nick wants to stay awake all night. Good thing the Cat needs help finding his most favorite hat that he lost in the forest of Wagamaroo! The Cat takes Nick and Sally on a nocturnal adventure, along the way meeting a variety of animals who stay up all night! Oh Give Me a Home! - Nick has a super duper special shell and Sally wants one too! The Cat in the Hat takes them to a beachside adventure where they meet Tucker, a hermit crab who is also looking for a new shell because he's grown too big for his. An under the sea fashion show gives both Tucker and Sally super duper special shells!. D

Wild Kratts  "Quillber's Birthday Present"  It's Aviva's birthday, and Chris and Martin decide to collect shed porcupine quills to make a beautiful necklace as a gift. As they tag along with an African Crested Porcupine, they discover that animals have different ways and even some highly specialized features to defend themselves from predators. For example, porcupine quills are modified hairs, designed by nature into a deadly defense. D

Sara's Weeknight Meals  "Thanksgiving 101"  Every Thanksgiving, America tunes in to hear Sara Moulton answer their turkey questions live, and now her public television viewers will get her infallible guidance. She covers the essentials of how to buy, defrost, brine, roast and time the bird in Top 10 Thanksgiving Mistakes and How to Avoid Them. Your Thanksgiving dilemmas are solved with Sara's One-Size-Fits-All Stuffing (you pick the mix-ins!); how to prep delicious wine-infused Gravy in Advance and how to keep and re-heat tasty Mashed Potatoes.
