Education, housing, development, health care, transportation, the environment — we all know these important topics have a daily impact on our lives across the state. Idaho Reports, the longest-running public policy show in the West, begins its 52nd season this fall as dedicated as ever to bringing our viewers up-to-date state government news and political analysis.
The new season begins by examining the on-the-ground effects of issues addressed by state policymakers, as well as the topics that will be up for debate when Idaho legislators convene once again in January 2024.
“For many Idahoans, the state capitol in Boise feels incredibly far away,” says Idaho Reports associate producer Logan Finney. “We take our spot on the only statewide broadcast system seriously, covering the most important policy action each week so our neighbors can stay aware of what their government is doing on their behalf.”
Beginning Oct. 27, Idaho Reports airs each Friday at 8 PM with an encore each Sunday at 10:30 AM on Idaho Public Television. The full show is also available on demand on the Idaho Reports website (idahoreports.org), on the PBS app, as well as on YouTube. The Idaho Reports team also publishes a weekly newsletter, breaking news updates and political analysis online throughout the week, and in-depth audio conversations wherever you get your podcasts.
