Meet the Team

JENIFER JOHNSON
Director of Charitable Giving
A native Idahoan, Jenifer grew up riding horses, water skiing and snow skiing. She attended the University of Idaho where she trained at KUID-TV, graduating with a degree in Television Production. She worked as a writer/producer in Spokane and Seattle for a number of years before returning to the Treasure Valley to be near family and raise two daughters.
After 15 years working in nonprofit management for Bogus Basin Mountain and The Idaho Foodbank, her career paths converged in 2015, when she joined Idaho Public Television to lead their fundraising efforts. Jenifer volunteers in the community and also serves on PBS committees and mentor programs.

JACOB SODEMAN
Philanthropy Director
Jacob is the Philanthropy Director at Idaho Public Television. He works with the Development team to raise support for all of the services and television programs IdahoPTV offers throughout the year. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Jacob enjoys exploring and taking advantage of the outdoors, no matter the conditions.
When he is indoors you can often find him with a new book, studying for an executive MBA program at BSU, or playing basketball at Meridian Homecourt. VERONICA TAYLOR
Annual Giving Director
Veronica Taylor has more than a decade of experience in arts education, nonprofit development, and donor engagement, with leadership roles at Idaho Shakespeare Festival, Ballet Idaho, and Giraffe Laugh Early Learning Centers.
Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Veronica has called Idaho home since 2006. She holds a degree in theatre and design from Boise State University and is currently pursuing her Executive MBA at Boise State. After years on Idaho’s highways and back roads, she is also on an ongoing search for the best chicken fried steak in the state.

RENE SASSO
Donor Services/Gifts Processing
Rene has lived in Boise since 2012 after moving from Twin Falls. She enjoys working for Idaho Public Television, where she assists donors with questions and contributions. Before joining IdahoPTV, she worked as a manager at a plasma donation center, and she thrives in roles that allow her to help others and give back to the community.
Having grown up watching PBS, Rene is proud to be part of the network that helped shape her life and is excited to support viewers who share a love for PBS programming. In her free time, she enjoys learning new things, trying new recipes, working on home projects, and exploring Idaho’s beautiful outdoors.

MORGAN KEATING
Community Engagement Manager
Morgan is a lifelong Idahoan, and a dedicated donor, user, and advocate for public media. A graduate of the University of Washington and Lewis Clark State College, she brings a background in nonprofit management, supporting events, fundraising, programs and membership.
Morgan grew up watching PBS and is proud to work for Idaho Public Television as the Community Engagement Manager. She is thrilled to be able to connect with diverse communities across the state in opportunities that enrich the lives of all Idahoans.
In her free time, Morgan likes to drink coffee, read, work on crossword puzzles, and explore Idaho with her husband, two daughters, and dog. She loves tent camping in the summer and downhill skiing in the winter, with a bit of hiking and biking in the spring and fall.

LAURA HULL
Grants Manager
Laura immigrated to Idaho with her family in 1991 from Cape Town, South Africa, and became a U.S. citizen in 2009. A lifelong writer, Laura’s experience in nonprofit communications, leadership and community development blend into a beloved career in grant writing. Laura aligns vision and purpose to craft winning grant proposals and articulates IdahoPTV’s meaningful impact across Idaho and beyond.
Laura holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and is a member of the Grant Professionals Association. She is an avid reader and also enjoys music, dance, hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, yoga and travel. At the top of Laura’s list (of which she has many) is celebrating life’s joys with her two young children.

QUINCY BUDELL
Donor Services/Passport Support
Quincy has joined the Development team at Idaho Public Television as the Donor Support Specialist. Born and raised in Boise, Idaho, she is excited to provide service to communities across the state.
While earning her degree in public health at Northern Arizona University, Quincy developed a passion for making education accessible to all. Since coming back home, Quincy has worked in both the nonprofit and startup sectors, connecting with and providing support to others.
Outside of work, it’s rare to find Quincy without her dog, Arlo, nearby. She loves trying new crafts and DIYs, wandering the aisles of local bookstores, and going to concerts.
